    Summary:This paper examines the changes in the commercial area and urban society of Suzhou from the Song Dynasty to the present situation, in accordance with the Pingjiang map of the Song Dynasty, the earliest existing city plan in China. The famous historical and cultural highway has been transformed into a commercial road, which can be compared and shows the transition.
