Summary:本稿はイタリアの法社会学者ルイジ・コミネッリ氏の論文「社会、生物学、『エピジェネティックな架橋』」の翻訳である。社会科学における古い人間行動理解を、遺伝子発現に関する研究領域であるエピジェネティクスの成果によって一新することが企図される。人間行動は環境によって決定されるのか、遺伝子によって決定されるのかという二項対立的な古い見方をやめ、エピジェネティクスによって確立された「環境を通じての遺伝」という新たな観点から法学への含意が検討される。
